The Chaudron Bar is situated on the D744 in the village of Chantemerle.
It is about 10km from Chataigneraie, 6km from Moncoutant and 5km from LA’bsie respectively.

It has been run by Benoit the French owner for several years.

There is a bar area, a quiz area and an outside terrace where meals can be enjoyed in the sun.
A lovely addition to the front of the bar is an arbour on which a climbing wisteria is being trained.

QUIZ & CHIPS
There is a Fun Quiz (in English) with lots of prizes.on the evenings that we are
there - starting at 20H30.
Join in if you wish – 2€ per person – maximum of 6 players in a team.

ENGLISH BOOK SALE
On the first Thursday of the month there is an English Book Sale.
Jan arrives with her van packed full of books. They are then set out alphabetically for you
to peruse and choose. They are mostly second hand paperback novels and cost
only 3€ each or two for just 5€ – not to be missed!
